    Jürgen Freund is an internationally acclaimed and well published wildlife photographer who has won many awards such as the BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year, World Press Photo & Nature's Best Windland Smith Rice. Jürgen is a Senior Fellow of the International League of Conservation Photographers based in the Atherton Tablelands, FNQ, and together with his wife Stella, he specializes in marine and terrestrial wildlife from the Austral-Asian Region and beyond. Jürgen and Stella’s photo stories appear in many international magazines and books. They also work very closely with WWF, and from 2009-2010 Jürgen and Stella conducted an 18 month photographic expedition for WWF through the Coral Triangle countries of the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Timor Leste, Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands.
