Creative Ecologies

    Creative Ecologies

Our goal is to contribute to more sustainable communities in the tropics through creative, innovative and culturally appropriate approaches to social resilience, planning, management and design.

Creative ecologies links practice-led research in the humanities and social sciences with community empowerment and economic development. Film, art and exhibition making feature as a means both to document cultural expression and to engage publics around questions of global transformation and social creativity. Creative ecologies draws together themes of collaboration, new public anthropologies, material culture, visual culture, and art as ethnography.
