Translanguaging pedagogies and Content Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) have been much celebrated for their respective success in language learning and content acquisition classrooms. However, the intentional utilisation of CLIL and translanguaging pedagogies together is still underexplored despite CLIL pedagogies frequently enacting and referencing translanguaging practices in multilingual classrooms. The roundtable discussion will shed light on the development of these two pedagogical constructs and introduce a pedagogic model that blends translanguaging and CLIL which can be implemented in diverse global classroom contexts.
