    Biographical outline

    I am from Ethiopia and had been teaching at Addis Ababa University as a Home-Base lecturer for two years upon completing my MA degree in linguistics. I was also engaged in lecturing on an undergraduate linguistics courses at Dire Dawa University prior to taking up an Australian Laureate Fellow Scholarship under the Australian Research Council to embark on a PhD program in linguistics at James Cook University. I am now privileged to join JCU and The Cairns Institute as a PhD student in 2016.
